Karson was inspiring to play little league football when symptoms were first recognized through a fitness physical. During the physical, the physician noticed an enlarged testical. After this detection, further testing was pursued and it was determined Karson needed additional medical attention and care. Karson made his first visit to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital in Memphis, TN where diagnosis was confirmed and treatment plan recommended for cure. Karson has completed 43 rounds of Chemotherapy and 23 remaining.
Karson has the spirit of a champion and is confident he will overcome this physical barrier. His love for his family, friends and sports activities such as football, basketball, and baseball keeps him motivated. His favorite athlete icon is LeBron James, power forward for the NBA Lakers team.
